Perfect iPad 2 companion
By Sheaman
I purchased this case/keyboard combo as an early Christmas gift for myself and I have no regrets. It was between this case and the Logitech Zagg aluminum case. Ultimately I chose this case because in looking at the Zagg case it appears that there is quite a lip surrounding the keyboard. I could see that getting in the way of typing. Also, the reviews for the Zagg case indicated that the aluminum dented easily. The fold-away keyboard is a nice size and the key spacing is perfect. Couple that with the convenience of folding the keyboard away when you don't need it and this is the perfect case/keyboard combo.

4 stars for the keypad; 1 for the folio
By bert1761
The keyboard is one of the best I've tried for my iPad. Of them all, the Belkin feels most like a true keyboard, rather than one of those mushy rubber things. Unfortunately, the folio lets the whole product down.* It is too difficult to remove the iPad from the case (but that is true of MANY iPad cases).* It does not allow one to type with the iPad in portrait, rather than landscape, mode, which would be the most natural way of using an iPad to work on most documents.* It is difficult to get used to opening it for typing purposes and then folding it back up again.* When it is folded up, it is uncomfortable to hold.* Most significantly, to get a reasonable viewing angle on a desk or table, the iPad needs to be tilted fauirly far back, which requires there to be a good deal of available space on the desk or table behind the iPad, which runs counter to the otherwise space-saving qualities of the iPad.In sum, perhaps the most potentially useful feedback I can offer is that I am glad I got my folio free through the Vine program; if I had paid $100 for it, I would have returned it.
